Hope for Histamine Intolerance
In my newest book, The Fiber Fueled Cookbook, I shared my proven process for identifying food sensitivities and intolerances, and rekindling a relationship with food so that you can stop fearing it and get back to loving it.
I dedicated a full chapter to understanding histamine intolerance (which even the most in-the-know nutrition enthusiasts aren't aware exists), but there’s only so much I could cover in the pages of a book. While I tried to include the most important information to help people identify their histamine intolerance and restore balance to their gut if they suffer from it, there was only so far I could take it.
Fortunately, I have an avenue to bring the concepts to life, take a deeper dive, and guide you through a comprehensive process that will help you understand exactly what histamine intolerance is, determine exactly what's causing it, and how to thrive if histamine is behind the symptoms you're battling regularly.
Histamine intolerance can be challenging for many people to accurately diagnose and overcome on their own. That’s what I’m here for. This training gets very granular, and by the end, you’ll be on a path toward overcoming your histamine intolerance and comfortably enjoying a diverse range of healthy and delicious foods.
But I want to be direct with you...
This is quite the process and it's not easy. I know the experiences that have led you here sure haven't been. You may have been bruised or beaten down by your food. You may feel desperate for solutions. And there are still challenges ahead!
Correcting multifaceted health issues is like trying to untie a complex knot. You don't want to do it because you know it's not going to be easy. It requires patience, effort, persistence and resilience. But if you make the investment and stick to the method that works, you will eventually get it unraveled. We only grow when we face challenges, and we do it because victory exists on the other side.
Will you come away from this process with concrete answers on how to heal your gut? Yes.
Will you be able to enjoy foods you maybe haven't been able to eat in decades (some maybe even by next month)? Yes.
Will you have AHA moments, your mind blown as you reconsider past diagnoses and labels you've had slapped on your symptoms, and understand your body in a way few can say they do? Yes.
Will it be difficult and complex at times? Few things worth having in life aren't.
Your path forward starts here.
I know how complicated food intolerances can be and how they can genuinely affect our quality of life.
Life with food intolerance is ultimately more difficult because food is a huge part of how we enjoy life, connect with people, pass down traditions, and experience new things.
Maybe you read The Fiber Fueled Cookbook or my first book Fiber Fueled and it opened a door to healing, but you find your (sometimes vague, broad, and confusing) symptoms and digestive issue inconsistent and you want more information…
Conceivably, you’ve never heard of me, haven’t read my books, never listened to me on a podcast, couldn’t give two candlesticks who I am, but you want a qualified, expert, and scientific approach to getting on a path to healing….
Here’s what you’ll learn in this comprehensive training
... and so much more!
A Case Study of ONE Where YOU Are The Subject
Many people have never heard of histamine intolerance – at least not until very recently. And unfortunately, even most GI doctors still do not equate diet with symptoms. Almost everyone has heard of gluten intolerance, lactose intolerance, and even FODMAP intolerance. But, histamine? Histamine is still the new kid on the block in terms of popular awareness. I’m certain that histamine’s time in the spotlight is coming, so consider yourself ahead of the curve!
When it comes to food intolerances, we don’t yet have adequate technology to effectively study it on a population. Instead, you must be the test subject. Think of Overcoming Histamine Intolerance as an “N of 1” trial on yourself (N of 1 is simply super nerd clinician-speak 🤓 for a trial with one subject). N of 1 enables us to identify what’s going on with you as an individual.
If you eat certain kinds of foods and suffer, then there’s something personal going on with you. We’ll use this information to make adjustments and improve your symptoms. And just like any clinical trial, we're looking for physical signs demonstrating what we are doing is working. Over time, by taking the appropriate steps, we can improve the integrity of the gut to be able to consume and enjoy foods currently causing symptoms.
But you need to personalize your diet to make this work, and I'm going to show you how.
Over a series of 6 challenges, I'll show you how to track the food, symptoms, and timing that helps you hone in on your own unique tolerance range.
This is a process, and it is admittedly time-consuming and involved. But it is also the best approach out there for identifying exactly where your sensitivities are triggered. Every single step in the process I'll share with you provides new information that will move you closer to your goal: enjoying nutrient-dense foods that heal your gut without painful symptoms.
I'll also equip you with...
Symptom tracker worksheets
Kitchen techniques for reducing histamines
Supplements for histamines
Guidance for handling symptoms
Tips for thriving on a low histamine diet
I want you to know that you can trust what you're doing here. That if you do it, it won't fail you.
BONUS: Dr. B’s digestible guide to:
Joining Overcoming Histamine Intolerance comes along with plenty of perks, and Dr. B’s Digestible Guide to Plant Points is one of them! If you’re not yet familiar, Plant Points are a fun way to meet my golden rule of getting more plants into your daily diet. Because as we all know by now (hopefully!), more plants equals more health.
You’ll learn what Plant Points are, how much plant makes up a point, what counts/doesn’t count as a Plant Point, answers to the most commonly asked questions about Plant Points, and you’ll get some handy worksheets helping you track just how much plant diversity you’re getting into your diet on a daily and weekly basis. I even whipped up a little challenge to go along with your sheets because who doesn't love a good challenge?!
Nourish Your Gut
To accompany this training and the series of 6 challenges I've developed for you, you'll find 15 strategic recipes designed to reduce symptoms and identify your unique intolerance range.
The body can be trained to appropriately balance histamine. This means that permanent eliminations are not necessary, but instead moderation and progressive tolerance are the way. This is what my Histamine Challenge will help you accomplish.
We will be testing high histamine-containing foods in a systematic way to determine which is triggering your symptoms, and then determine what your unique threshold of each food is.
During our 2 hours together, we'll discuss how you can enjoy these recipes at your own pace so that this protocol works with your body, not against it.
And don't worry, you'll still love these recipes once you're healed! They are here to be enjoyed by anyone, whether you're doing a histamine protocol or not.
This is inclusive nutrition!
My patients, and perhaps many of you, have been suffering and miserable for far too long, with a myriad of digestive and other symptoms that feel overwhelming. You deserve a solution. That solution, quite simply, is to reconstruct the gut microbiota, restore the healthy gut microbes to power, and repair the broken tight junctions. Once repaired, you can put that machine for human health to work by fueling it with it's preferred fuel — fiber!
With the Overcoming Food Intolerance Training Series, I'll provide with a path that will allow you to rekindle your relationship with food so that you can stop fearing it and get back to loving it, without all the symptoms that are plaguing you. Through this education, you'll be able to understand and properly interpret what's happening with your body, identify the root of the issue, and generate solutions.
These powerful, life-changing methods are designed to heal your digestive issues, restore function to your digestive mechanism, and allow you to thrive on a diet that celebrates plants in abundance and diversity.

Hey! I'm Dr. Will Bulsiewicz, MD MSCI
(Pronounced Bull-Suh-Wits)-But You Can Just Call Me Dr. B.
You may know me as @TheGutHealthMD. I’m the New York Times bestselling author of the book Fiber Fueled a full-time gastroenterologist, and an internationally recognized gut health expert.
I’ve dedicated my life to learning how to heal the gut from the inside out.
I completed a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, an MD from Georgetown University, and a master’s in clinical investigation from Northwestern University.
I was also the chief medical resident at Northwestern and the chief gastroenterology fellow at UNC, and I received the highest award given by both my residency and fellowship.
I created this training because many experience food intolerance, but not enough folks talk about it. When we’re educated about a condition, we make the right choices — whether that means seeking the right professional to help us navigate our difficulties or making changes within our control to feel better.
I’m honored to be your teacher and I hope you enjoy the training!
