Week 1
Guts & Plants & Microbiome (Oh My!)

This week we are diving into the microbiome to understand the concepts and definitions of gut health, dysbiosis, and the microbes. These foundational elements form the basis for understanding how to heal. We’ll create a vision for the future based upon a realistic expectation of what a healthy gut feels like (through this course and beyond) so that we know where we’re going and what that will look like when we get there. You’ll also know what you can expect in this course and how to navigate it for optimal success. Let’s do this thing!

Week 2
The Real Reason You’re Sick. Navigate to Your True Diagnosis.

By the end of this lesson, you will understand how you can get to your diagnosis for why you’re sick. We’ll dive in symptom by symptom and you’ll go inside Dr. B’s brain to hear what he’s thinking about and how he approaches these individual issues. We’ll put a special focus on the role constipation, celiac disease and gluten intolerance play in the health of your gut and microbiome. You’ll understand the difference between a food sensitivity vs. allergy. We’ll identify the tests to take to address your symptoms and issues so that you can develop a plan for how to navigate the system to find your true diagnosis. How can you treat if you don’t know what you’re treating? It starts here.

What’s Damaging Your Gut?

Every single one of us has a personal health journey with a backstory to it. This is about understanding how you got to where you are. What’s your gut health story? We’re going to define it this week and use that information as we move forward to address the root of our issues.

Reverse food sensitivities.

You’ve been told they are irreversible, that you should just eliminate the food and move on. This is flat out wrong! They are reversible, and this course will teach you the methodology to get those foods back on the plate and start enjoying them again.

Optimize your gut microbiome.

Your gut connects to your digestion and nutrient absorption, immune system, inflammation, your weight balance, hormones and even mood and brain function. Whether you are sick and healthy, we all need to pay attention to our gut in order to achieve the radiant health that we deserve.

Create a lifestyle that heals.

Your gut mirrors your diet and lifestyle, meaning that when you eat the right food and properly organize your life you will optimize your gut microbiome and in the process enjoy a cascade of health benefits that come with that.

I have learned SO much from following along with Dr B. for the last year. Not only is he a credible, trustworthy source but he also breaks down the information in a way that it is easy to comprehend and apply. He is one of the few that looks at food as medicine while also supporting the facts that scientific studies have proven. I can't recommend this course, or his book 'Fiber Fueled', enough. He is changing the lives of many and I am excited for what's to come!

Hi, I’m Dr. Will Bulsiewicz!

You may know me as @TheGutHealthMD. I’m the New York Times-bestselling author of the book Fiber Fueled, a full time gastroenterologist, and an internationally recognized gut health expert.

I’ve dedicated my life to learning how to heal the gut from the inside out.

I completed a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, a medical degree from Georgetown University, and a master’s in clinical investigation from Northwestern University.

I was also the chief medical resident at Northwestern and the chief gastroenterology fellow at UNC, and received the highest award given by both my residency and fellowship.

I created this course so that YOU could begin the life-changing journey of healing your gut. I’ve cared for thousands of real people suffering with chronic digestive disorders. I get them better, but I always wish we could sit down for a long conversation and I would teach them everything I know. Now, FINALLY, I have a way to have that conversation with you, whether you are my patient or not. This is for the people seeking complete knowledge on gut health, who want to go beyond the book for complete understanding.

“For anyone dealing with gut health issues, I would highly recommend taking Dr B's course. His knowledge and compassion towards everything gut related is evident throughout each lesson and there are a lot of valuable takeaways to start the road to gut health recovery.

— Mckenzie

This was a really great course! I am still improving my own Gut Health, and I feel much more hopeful about navigating the Healthcare system! I also learned a lot from Dr B. over the years, even leading up to this course. For instance, he inspired me to start taking prebiotic fibers, quit drinking and to go fully plant based! This course really cemented those decisions and went really deep into just how bio-individual everyone's gut/microbiome is! Also, as a newly Certified Health Coach who wants to help people with gut issues, this was like an amazing supplemental add-on to my education. I love that this is all based in real science (not test tube studies) ! A+ Course for anyone who wants to repair their gut or share this knowledge with others who need help!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When does the course start?

The next round of the course starts on January 4th, 2021! Join now to get access to the pre-course module, the private Facebook group, and two bonus live Q&A sessions with Dr. B!

How long is the course and what are the content release dates?
This is a 7-week course. Daily videos and audios are released Monday through Friday.

The course starts on Monday, January 4th 2021

Week 1: January 4

Week 2: January 11

Week 3: January 18

Week 4: January 25

Week 5: February 1

Week 6: February 8

Week 7: February 15

How is the course content delivered?

It all starts with the course workbook, which will guide you through the course with daily prompts and journaling exercises. Videos will be delivered daily Monday through Friday to the online course portal and you will be invited to our private Facebook group where you will interact with like minded individuals who share your common goal of healing by reversing dysbiosis. Each week serves as a module, and after the week is completed you will have a live Q&A with Dr. B to get your questions answered. All of the content, including the live Q&A’s, will be available to review on your own time and at your own pace.

Is the course the Fiber Fueled 4 Weeks or an eating program?

The Fiber Fueled 4 Weeks is a separate program as part of Dr. B’s book, Fiber Fueled. Many who take the course will want to do the Fiber Fueled 4 Weeks after doing the course. But the course is not an eating program. Instead, the course is about providing the foundational education necessary to understand how to navigate the healthcare system to accomplish your goals and advocate for yourself, to understand why you’re sick and what your personal story is that brought you to where you are, and what the next steps are to establish a lifestyle that heals. In that process, it may involve taking the time necessary to connect with a health practitioner and address specific issues.

What’s the difference between the book, Fiber Fueled, and the Plant Fed Gut Online Course?

The book is an excellent starting point to establish the core tenets of gut health, but it is not intended to provide comprehensive education on the topic. The Plant Fed Gut Online Course is that complete education, delivered over 7 weeks using videos and a workbook prepared by Dr. B over the course of a year and experienced in a private community of like minded individuals then reinforced with weekly live calls with Dr. B. Additionally, the course will feature exclusive recipes not found in the book.

Will Dr. B be giving me personalized medical advice or be my doctor as part of doing the course?

This course is provided as education on the topic of gut health and reversal of dysbiosis but it does not replace the need for having a local healthcare provider to support you and provide personalized medical advice. Dr. Bulsiewicz will not be giving personalized medical advice and participation in the course does not make him your doctor in any form. His goal is to empower you with the proper education so that you can accomplish your health goals with the support of local health providers as needed.

How many hours a week do I need to dedicate to the course?

There is no hourly commitment to the course. This is about creating a new way of life with gut health, diversity of plants, and your microbiome at the front and center. This takes time and building a habit of showing up daily, through the workbook, course videos and support in the Facebook group, is a surefire way to boost your success.

Dr. B. will also be hosting a live Q&A session every Monday at 8pm ET, starting on September 7th. If you can’t make that time, the video replay will be available for you to watch at any time.

Do you offer refunds?

There are no refunds. After registering you will have 1 year of unlimited access to the course to complete the program and revisit the course content at any time. You will also have the opportunity to join future rounds of the course with the Plant Fed Family discount. Dr. B is committed to the transformation you’ll experience throughout the 7 weeks together.
